Architect visted site and inspected the C chanels bolted to the original 3" x 10" joists. A call was put in to the structural Engineer to visit the site with latest drawing to review the excavation, underpinning and footings necassary to continue at the neighbors wall for the cellar bathroom and storage rooms and decking above.
Mission Design also wants direction to close an original fireplace gap in the cellar joists, before they can sheetrock. Sheet rocking continued in the boiler room with three layers of 5/8". A Z channel will be placed on the third layer for a final forth layer to be screwed to allowing for space indicated on the section drawing detail.
The architect informed us the Building Dept. Will allow a C of O for one hundred people in the back yard but will require the cellar fire exit to have an increased head height of 7' - 6" for 75%, from the existing finshed height of 7' to 7' -3 we presently have. Another item for the structural Engineer to look at to determine what will need to be done.
